A Taste of What's to Come.

Welcome to my lovely blog. I will be discussing two things in this blog, and I'm sure you can guess what they are. I love both of these things, sometimes one more than the other. But, allow me to explain what you will be seeing in the future. This blog is basically a collection of my book reviews with a focus on female characters. By default most of the books I read have central female characters. I seldom pick up a book without strong, important women in it. Call it my inner-raging lesbian/feminist. So, in this blog I will be talking all about the books I read and how the women are important in them. Alright, well to get started I will give you a short preview list of what will be coming soon...

1. A Clash of Kings- Now, I know no one, save a few awesome people who enjoy obscure fantasy novels, has read this. The first book in the series was given to me as a gift, so I'm reading the second one. Brilliant novels. I can't wait to tell you just how great they are.

2. The Gemma Doyle Trilogy- This series is far from new and I'm sure many of you have read this one, but it is my all-time favorite. I must get a few words in about this one.

3. Virginia Woolf Works- I have been promising a lot of people that I would read five works by Woolf and blog about it. Consider the promise in progress.

4. Sarah Waters- I have a lot to say about these books...too much probably. Much of it is kind, but some things have always bothered me about these pieces.
